Martina McBride announces 2008 tour
Tim, I would like to tell you this charity isn't really a charity. They made me an appt three mths out and then called to move to a month later. They then called and tried to cancel again on October 25,2007 I begged to be seen. So they put me down for Monday October 29 at 8am. When I got there they said they didn't have me down and that I didn't qualify. My husband works, I'm waiting for disability, and we have a daughter that is very sick. We go to Jackson MS almost every month w/her. They said because I didn't have a job, even part time I would not qualify. Interfaith Dental Clinic turned me away. I have 3 1/2 teeth left on the top and went to Vanderbilt last week due to infection in my lower teeth. They pulled 6 bottom teeth. I can't even chew food. This charity gave me a list of other charities and said they could help me because I don't have money to pay. I just thought you should know how embarrassed I am to be in this condition and be turned down for help. I try not to let peoble see my mouth when I talk. All of our money is going to medical bills and we have no drug coverage. My child comes first. Sincerely, Linda G. Daley

Darryl Worley Poses Nude for Playgirl Magazine
Jim Lauderdale's upcoming bluegrass album, The Bluegrass Diaries, was produced, co-engineered, and mixed by world-renowned Dobro player, Randy Kohrs, at his Slack-Key Studio in Nashville, TN. Kohrs also provided all of the Dobro parts and most of the harmony vocals for the CD. "We're so honored here at Slack-Key to get to work with such amazing talents as Jim Lauderdale, who is still at the top of his game," says Randy when asked about working with Lauderdale, whom he has worked with on many occasions in and out of the studio. Kohrs also co-produced Jim's previous Grammy-nominated CD, Bluegrass, as well as lent harmony vocals and dobro parts to it and other recordings of Jim's in the past.
